Golf Team 2nd at County

Yesterday the girls golf team placed 2nd at the County match held at Hickory Stick.  Audrey Eckart fired an 82 to earn a spot on the All-County team.  Bri Harwell had an 83, Rachel Giroud 90 and Allie Watson 95.

Tennis Team Drops Match

Last night our boys tennis team lost to Greenwood 4-1.  Freshman Garrison Pelfree picked up our only win at #3 singles to improve his overall record to 4-2.  Our JV won to move to 5-1 overall.   Our Varsity record is now 3-3 and we play at Franklin on Tuesday.  Go Warriors!!

Boys Soccer Chop the Woodmen

Last night our boys soccer team beat Greenwood 4-2.  JT Beers had 2 goals while Shawn Sullivan and Andrew Morgan each chipped in with one.  The JV won 7-0.  The Warriors are in action tomorrow at the Batesville Invite.  We are now 1-3 overall.  Go Warriors!!

Girls Soccer Drops Match

Important Wrestling Meeting

Coach Dave Thompson is having a parent/wrestler meeting on Sept. 1 at 6:00pm in the WCHS 9 Cafeteria. This meeting includes all athletes that are planning on wrestling this season.  Mark your calendars now and we will see you on Sept. 1.  Go Warriors!!

Volleyball Shows Improvement

Last night our volleyball team battled Greenwood tough but lost in 3 games (two were by 2 points).  The team showed much improvement from the weekend and will host New Palestine on Thursday.  All three teams will be in action. Go Warriors!!

Tennis Drops Match

Last night the boys tennis team lost to Plainfield 4-1.  Caleb Scott picked up our only win at #1 singles 6-2, 6-0.  He improves to 4-1 overall.  The JV lost their first match of the season after being shut out 6-0.  Up next is Greenwood on the road Thursday.  Go Warriors!!

Boys Soccer Blanked

On Saturday our boys soccer team traveled to Seymour to battle the Owls.  The match was much closer than the final score of 3-0.  Coach Vanhorn remains optimistic for his young Warriors and has been pleased with the overall improvement at each practice.
